Emeka Christian Umunnakwe, is a passionate advocate for sustainable agriculture and youth empowerment in Africa. With nearly over a decade experience in agricultual volunteerism in underserved communities, I lead initiatives that equip young people and rural farmers with practical farming skills, promote climate-smart agriculture, and advance food security. As founder of the Coalition of African Youths in Modern Agriculture (CoAYIMA) and convener of the Future-Proof Mentorship Initiative, I mentor several fellow youths, fostering leadership, innovation, and resilience. My mission is to build a food-secure Africa by investing in youth-led solutions that tackle hunger, climate change, and poverty through agricultural education and community development.
